Patchville

Our church at it's Halloween alternative(Patchville) last night so I invited a friend and her daughters to go since our hubby's are both in the field this week. Madi had tons of fun!

On our way to Patchville.
Madi's "big" friend Kennedy.
Kennedy and Sydney Neri.

My friend Andrea and all the girls on the hay ride.

For some reason all these pictures look weird on the blog.

Madi started trying to give this lamb a hug. haha
The first bounce house they had. She ended up needing help over this large wall.

Bounce house number two. Ft. Stewart had this same one at the 4th of July celebration and she wouldn't go up this hill to go down the slide. No problems last night!

Inside church they had CandyLand set up. They all the same rooms as the game has with a different activity for each location. It was really cute!

Madi picking out her lollipop.

You can see the cute trail they followed all the way through.

This was chocolate land I believe. They played hot potato. Madi really got into the throwing part. :)

Our Girly Girl

Madi is definitely my little girly girl. She likes to pick our her own clothes(almost always wants a dress and then says "pretty"). Also, she likes to wear my heals around the house. She enjoys having her hair done and always wants to go show daddy when she's all dressed and hair done. She also likes to put on make up. Don't worry I don't actually let her put any one but she does like to pretend with the brushes. She has a pretty good balance because she also likes to go outside and play in the dirt.:)

Here are some pictures I took of her "primping". :)

Our Silly Madi

Since Madison is so darn independant she has been surprising us almost daily with new and goofy things. Below are some funny ones we were able to get pictures of. :)

I went to check on Madison and heard the water running in her tub. This is what I saw upon entering the bathroom.
I asked her what she was doing and I got a big smile and laughs as she said she as taking a bath! All on her own. She tried taking about two other baths before I convinced her that she was not to take a bath without mommy or daddy.

In these pictures Madison decided she should take a "nap" in her baby's bed.

She was so pleased with herself that she thought to do this! :)
Silly little cutie!

Mom's visit in July

I have taken quite a LONG break from blogging so I thought it was time to come back and get with it.

At the beginning of July Mike and I took a vacation, just the two of us so we flew mom down here to watch Madi while we were gone. They had alot of fun together. Madi loved getting into "Ma's" suitecase because of all the toys and activities she brought to make their time together really fun.

Madi was quiet for a few minutes so we went to look for her and found her in reading Grandma's Bible. She was very carefully turning the pages and seemed very interested despite the fact that she could not read it and there were no pictures. :) I was cute to find.

Here are some cute pictures after the military appreciation service at church.

The FOUR of us! (Unbeknown to us I was about 2 weeks pregnant here)

Madi's Bd Pictures

I am finally posting pictures from Madi's little bd party. She thoroughly enjoyed herself. She loved eating cake and opening presents. Uncle Billy and Emily came over to help her celebrate so she was having fun!

Our adorable little birthday girl!!!
I got her these little earings because when I put mine on she points to her ear wanting to put some on. They were a big hit!

As soon as Uncle Billy came over she thought he would look nice wearing her jewlery.

She even thought the earings would give Rufus a little something.

Giving "the lip".

I made the cake but was out of wax paper so unfortunetely I couldn't get it out of the pan in one peice. It was a tiara shaped cake.

Can you tell she doesn't get sweets very often?!:)

Still excited that she gets to eat cake.

I don't know what this expression was about but it has something to do with her cake because she had eaten all the frosting off and left her cake just sitting on her plate.

Don't they look cute eating off princess plates.:)

She loves ripping paper off presents.

Grandma and Grandpa gave Madi coins to put in her piggy bank.

Happy 2nd Birthday Madison!!

Our little baby is two years old! My how time flies! Mike and I thought back on how it feels like yesterday that we were waiting for her arrival and then finally bringing her home. She has been such a blessing to us! It is so fun watching her learn things and experience life for the first time. One little example is we had the windown down in the car the other day and the wind was blowing her hair. She ran her hands through her hand and was squealing with excitement at how it felt. She definitely has a very dynamic personality.

We will be celebrating with cake and ice cream tomorrow night with Uncle Billy and Emily tomorrow night but here are some pictures we took of her on Sunday.
She had a lot of fun playing on the beach with all the sand..and she got comfortable with the fact that the sand moves a little and you need to use more balance.:) She got so many comments from people who found it fun to watch such a little girl discover the sand.:)

She really like the waves but if you didn't hold her hand when they came in she's turn around and run before it could wash the sand out from under her feet.:) It was so funny to watch.

"Hold my hand mommy so I can go in the water."

Softplay

Last week my friend Kristen was in town so we had lunch then took our kids to the softplay in one of our malls. Madison gets more and more brave everytime as she gets to watch the big kids climb all over things.:)

...and away she goes!

Madi and Liam.

This was such an adorable pic of Liam I had to post it!
