Family Visit Part 2

I know I'm posting a ton of these pictures but there are some really cute ones.:) These as you have guessed are still while mom and dad were here.
Madison just leaned over like this and stayed there for awhile. It was so funny. :)

As soon as we got there I took her down to the beach to put her feet in. Initially she was okay but then a small wave came up and got her legs and her bottom wet and the sand started washing away so that was it for her. She got pretty unhappy after that.
Dad spotted a big Harley Davidson store so while Mike was at work one day the 5 of us headed out to visit it. This was a toy one they had for little kids. You put quarters in it and they can go for a ride. We mainly took a picture of her on it to mess with Mike. He's a sport bike man and here's his little girl on a Harley. :) She thought it was great and was all smiley.

Family Visit

Mom, Dad and Kim came for a visit last week so, on Saturday we went to the Hilton Head beach. Madison really didn't like the ocean too much. She didn't want to stand in the beach water or in the sand( as you can see below she would just hold her legs up). We had fun though. It was a good visit and they loved seeing how Madison has grown!

Kim and I were loving the small waves but as you can see Mike wanted to venture out to get the bigger ones. :)

She was crying here because she was not enjoying all the noise. We'll have to go to the beach more often to get her used to it.

This little tent was spf15 so it was perfect for Madison to play in while we were in the water. Mom and dad relaxed with her.

Dad was having a little grandaughter time after dinner one evening.

Sweet Girl

I was glancing through pictures we've recently taken and I came across these pictures that look so sweet so I thought I'd share them with you.

Rolling Over

Madison has started rolling over onto her back as soon as we put her on her tummy so...we thought we'd be clever and put her in the boppy pillow so she wouldn't be able to. But, as you can see below she still tried her hardest.

"I know I can flip if I fling my arm back far enough."

"Why didn't it work?"

6 months old!

Our little Madison turned 6 months old on Friday!! I can't believe how fast she is growing! Time is flying and she is doing wonderful! We are enjoying her so much! She's so cute and smiley all the time. Madison is still very particular and of course only does what she wants to when she wants to but that's part of her personality and we love her to death! She steals hearts around her all the time! God has blessed us so much by giving us our little girl and we pray everyday that He helps us raise her to be a Godly woman.
~ At her 6 mo Dr. appointment he said she weighs 14.15 lbs. and is 25 in. long, is growing perfectly on her own little curve, and is still as cute as ever.:)
~She can sit on her own for quite awhile without any support.
~She loves carrots and sweet potatoes.
~Laughs on her own to herself.
~Her bedtime is now from 8pm-7am.
~She likes to stand when we hold her and will even stand holding onto other furniture for a few brief moments.
~She said "dada" indiscriminately of course but it made Mike happy.
~She has moved to only 2 main naps and one short in the late afternoon.
~She eats her lunch and dinner with the family now.
~She will throw her toys over the side of her stroller or whatever chair she is in so requires more attention. :)
~She has scooted on her tummy to get a toy.
~She also likes to sleep on her side more often now instead of on her back.
~She has found her high pitch voice and uses it when she's excited or complaining. :)
~She has also found her ears and has been able to stick her toes in her mouth(unfortunetely) for quite awhile.
~Books are always such a fun thing for her. They will take care of a cranky mood or just keep her entertained for awhile.

Madison enjoying her first taste of sweet potatoes. What a mess she is. We really need to get her a high chair.

Madison has turned the mirror on her toy into another chew toy. :)

Mommy was given this bumbo chair from grandma Georgia for her birthday. It's great for letting her hang out with us in the kitchen while making dinner and as her feeding seat until we get her a chair.

Bath Time

Bath time is so much fun. I seem to get the cutest pictures of her then. I especially love the after pictures when she's all bundled up in her towel. She has gotten big enough that she can sit on the big side of her little tub. She loves to continuously splash water all over herself and her bath giver. Below are just a few fun bath pictures we've taken recently.

She is always wanting to get her feet into her mouth so here, even in the tub she is grabbing it to put it in her mouth.

Awwww! baby and daddy after her bath. She got tons and tons of those little hooded towels as gifts. Those are almost all we use now. Although she is starting to get a little big for them. She received a cute pink bath robe from her Aunt Tiffany and Uncle Jason so we have now started to use that.

I love this picture! Her little bath robe makes her looks so stiff.:)
