Mike's Home...for 18 Days

Mike came home for his R&R on the 9th of this month and will be here until Thursday. We were so excited to finally be going to the airport to pick him up. It had been about 9 1/2 months since he'd been home. Obviously Madi has grown a TON. Since he is still home this is going to be short but I thought I would still post a couple pictures. We have done alot of family stuff and have MANY pictures that I will post later. Here are two for now.

It has been pouring rain for over week because of the tropical storms in Florida but it took a quick break the other morning so we went to the the J.F. Gregory park in town. They have a long walk in the trees. Here is an adorable picture of Madison walking with her daddy down the trail.

Out and About the East Coast

Kim and I went to Tybee as well as downtown Savannah to walk around the historic district. Here are some fun pictures from the day. The quality is very poor though because I forgot my digital camera and had to buy a disposable.

When the tide would go back out and wash the sand away it would make Madi very nervous and she'd pick up her feet.:) I guess she didn't like the feeling of the ground washing away from under her.

They stopped to smell some flowers in one of the squares.

I let Madi through some pennies into the fountain. She wants some more to throw. Initially she laughed and laughed when the pennies would drop into the water. It was so funny to watch her.
