Bug Hunting
One of the souvenirs we got Madi from her trip to the zoo was this little bug cage. The next day her and Mike went out to hunt for bugs. She was definitely interested in looking at the bugs she caught. They also found a little frog they put in there for a little bit.
Off to find the bugs with daddy.

thank you so much for the encouragement! it does make me feel better knowing that you've already gone through it! and you still seem close to your husband...i think that's my biggest fear...that a.j. and i will lose the joking-with-each-other all the time side of our relationship! but i'm sure it will be fine..and most of the time i just look forward to him coming home...and i really don't dwell too much on the whole year without him thing. but there are times it does hit me pretty hard! and i'm not even going through it yet! i almost think it will be easier when he leaves and i'm able to start counting down and getting it over with! but i really enjoy this time with him here, too! but thanks. i might take you up on that offer to talk sometime! you're so sweet!!

It looks like Mike had a really good time showing Madi things. What a priceless time together.
